Sin City Presents is pleased to share with you Project 150’s FREE Teen Shopping Day! The Teen Shopping Day will take place on February 1st, 2014 from 10am-2pm at the Project 150 Volunteer Center located at 6211 Dean Martin Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89118.
Homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students in Las Vegas Teens are invited to shop for winter wear, casual attire, shoes and accessories for FREE when they present their High School ID. (or other proof of high school enrollment). Project 150 collects ALL teen appropriate clothing, shoes, school supplies, and gift cards. Currently they have an URGENT NEED for fast food gift cards, 2″ View Binders; New Undergarments; large shoes sizes 13, 14, and 15; jewelry accessories; travel size hygiene products; and high school uniform polo shirts (white, navy, maroon, and red)
There are over 6,300 homeless students in Las Vegas alone. Project 150 currently serves nearly 1000 homeless, displaced and disadvantaged students at 30+high schools here in Southern Nevada and one in Reno. Project 150 strives to provide the basic needs to the valley’s homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students in the on-going struggle to make sure these kids get their diploma and have a better chance at succeeding in life.
