Sin City Presents……… Andrew Charles Koch! On November 21st Sin City Presents Hosted the Andrew Charles Koch CD release party at Tommy Rockers. Andrew describes the The new CD titled “It Takes A Woman” (To Make A Man) as an expression of his experiences and emotions during his life. Andrew wasn’t alone for his launch party as many local artists came out to support his new album. The release party featured a total of 21 local Las Vegas Musicians that shared the stage with Andrew in celebration of his CD launch. The music enjoyed by patrons and guests covered just about every genre. Bright lights and big cities are nothing new to Andrew. Andrew has performed at Radio City Music Hall, on Broadway at the Minskoff Theatre, former lead singer for The Wondering Scholars, The Undertow, and The Changlings. Andrew’s voice is not the only thing that is smooth. Andrew performed with CHER as her lead dancer during her world tour in 1980 and in Las Vegas at Caesers Palace. From there he moved on to doing films with Patrick Swayze including “Dirty Dancing” and “Roadhouse.” In Dirty Dancing, “the series”, a Steven Tisch Production, he portrayed the character “Hank”. He’s been featured in some Disney Movies you might remember like “Newsies” and “The Great Outdoors”. He’s been in a number of music videos with CHER, Meat Loaf and The Pointer Sisters. He’s had the priveledge of enjoying the stage with CHER on the Tonight Show, Arsenio Hall at the American Music Awards and Smokey Robinson at the Mowtown Review.
We’ve assembled a gallery here with all of the artists that participated. Sin City Presents invites you to visit Andrew’s Profile on the Tate Music Group website where the new album is available for purchase and/or download just in time for your Holiday shopping!
Joining Andrew onstage throughout the evening were the incredible John Charleston on Keys, CMA Award winning guitarist Billy Gene Liska, Guitar, Aaron Paul, Harmonica, special guest Lori Dahl who joined Andrew all the way from Wisconsin to be a part of the launch, and the support of three amazing drummers, Crazy Cole in the first set, Johnny Darkside from Resurrection in the second set and and Scott Bender from Crazy Cole & The Barflyz in the final set. It truly was an amazing night of artists supporting one another and Andrew. Thank you to each and everyone that participated to make this event one to remember. Lastly, but certainly by no means the least, THANK YOU to Tommy Rocker for allowing us to host this launch party, without your generosity none of it would have been possible!
