On August 27th 40+ musicians from Las Vegas gathered to celebrate the music that inspired them at the annual charity event dedicated to the Hottest Band in the World…KISS!
The event brought fans of all things KISS together to raise money for education, instruments and the preservation of the Arts in our schools. In total $17,000 dollars was raised via ticket sales at the door and raffle ticket sales for items that were generously donated by the community and beyond. Raffle items included three custom themed guitars created by S.L. Designs, one of a kind works of art from local artist Michael Maysonet, memorabilia from KISS4Sale.com, and many many other items too many to name. All of the money that was raised was donated IMAGINE a local non-profit corporation founded to help fund the music departments of public schools in the Las Vegas Valley at a special presentation on September 6th at Count’s Vamp’d Rock Bar & Grill.
In addition to the incredible performance delivered by the cast of 40+ local musicians highlights of the evening included special guests that have all been a part of KISStory including Lydia Criss, Bob Kulick, Jason Ebs and a special video greeting from Ace Frehley.
The organizers of KISS Night in Las Vegas Stoney Curtis, K Caruso, Shon McKee and Morpheus Blak continue to make huge strides to make the event bigger and better each and every year. To date the annual event has raised nearly $100 thousand dollars all for the love of music and to keep music alive in our schools.
