MEDIA RELEASE – NOVEMBER 26 2014
Ron Keel Rides Into The Badlands
Veteran vocalist/radio show host/entertainer Ron Keel is headed for the Badlands – Badlands Pawn in Sioux Falls, South Dakota (http://badlandspawn.com).

This brand new multimillion dollar project, created by business titan Charles Brennan, opens November 26th 2015 and combines a pawn shop, FM radio station, music venue, gun range, television show and much more into both an attraction and an experience. Customers will be treated to an array of entertaining sights and sounds including a million dollars in gold on display, concert performances and jam sessions, and interactive activities on the radio airwaves.

Ron Keel will bring his unique skill set to this project in a number of ways: hosting a daily show on Badlands Radio, and fronting the Badlands House Band which will perform on site in addition to select tour dates. Keel will also be teaching and coaching young musicians at the nearby Brennan Rock & Roll Academy (http://brennanrockandrollacademy.com), recording and producing projects in the adjoining recording studio, and managing various entertainment aspects of Badlands Pawn. The building and launching of this new venture will be captured on camera for a reality TV show to air on a major network to be announced.

This is just a taste of the information that will be coming about Badlands Pawn. Mr. Brennan plans to release full details sometime in the first quarter of 2015 for this fall of ’15 opening.

“I’m excited about the opportunity and the challenges it presents,” Keel exclaims. “Badlands Pawn is going to be like Metal Cowboy Disneyland, and they’re giving me the keys! Going from a one-hour weekly radio show to a daily four-hour program is a big step, and getting to participate in the building process of the facility and the brand is extremely appealing to me. I’ll be fronting the Badlands House Band, getting to work with some great musicians and playing music that I love; and working with the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy will give me a chance to pass on some of my knowledge and experience to kids who are the next generation of rockers.”

This project and situation dictates that Ron will make a permanent move to Sioux Falls in February 2015 as part of the Badlands Pawn foundation team. “Las Vegas has been good to me, and I’m going to be saying goodbye to a lot of dear friends – hopefully they’ll come visit us in the Badlands.”

Ron Keel has never been afraid of big moves or bold decisions; at 17 he moved to Nashville to pursue his musical dream, and a few years later he fearlessly led his band Keel onto the Hollywood rock scene and on to subsequent international recognition. In 2006 he staked his claim in Las Vegas where he served as co-creator and producer of the long-running show “Country Superstars.” 2014 saw the release of his solo album “Metal Cowboy” and official autobiography “Even Keel: Life On The Streets Of Rock & Roll.” Keel’s new long term commitment to the Badlands Pawn Empire promises to put a proper exclamation point to his long and diverse career in the entertainment industry.
