More than 40,000 runners to take over both sides of Las Vegas Boulevard next Sunday night, November 13

- More than $2 million will be raised for charity at the ‘World’s Largest Nighttime Running Event’
More than 40,000 runners from all 50 states and 83 countries will hit the pavement next weekend at the GEICO Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & ½ Marathon. The Las Vegas Marathon is one of the oldest marathons in the United States, having been run since 1967, and will celebrate 50 years running in 2016.
With more than 20 stages along the racecourse Sin City will be rockin’ with plenty of LIVE music to help keep the pace up. We’re thrilled to see some of our favorite local bands on the course including Sweet Home Alabama- A Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd, (Across from Paris Entrance in intersection ) the Saints of Las Vegas, ( NB Turn lane at LVB & Sahara ) and Kella Bo Bella (MGM North Lot – West End **NEW LOCATION**). Also on the course a band we met on KISS Night in Las Vegas 5, The Black Tapes, (Clark & Main) a truly talented group of young a musicians. View the entire entertainment schedule here.

6:00 pm – Brooks Rock ‘n’ Roll 5k

|The two-day running party gets started on Saturday night with more than 9,000 runners participating in the Brooks Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K presented by SLS Las Vegas.|

3:00 pm – Snoop Dogg Headliner Concert
4:30 pm – Marathon & ½ Marathon Start
5:30 pm – Run Thru Wedding at The Park
6:30 pm – Finish Line on Las Vegas Blvd.
|Runners will take over both sides of the Las Vegas #StripatNight. The race route highlights the must-see Vegas sights from the iconic ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign to the Fountains of Bellagio, before finishing at the base of the Mirage Volcano.|
